Down here in Texas we don't have a real winter so I've never seen real snow in person.  It's a dream of mine to one day get to travel somewhere just to play in some snow, lol.  I have a little obsession with winter so this pony just embodies my feelings of the winter season.  This is by far my favorite custom I've ever made and it was definitely the most labor intensive.

I based this pony on a real horse, whose picture I'll attach.  I also made a family for Daddy Painted Draft, from a baity Seashell and a DG fakie.  They are shown in a few pics.  I would enter them as a family if there were a group category, but since I had to pick one, I chose the Daddy.  He has that soft pink muzzle and light blue eyes!  I just love the way he turned out and am toying with the idea of whether or not to kink his hair like his inspiration's...  But I'll leave that to the fates!  :D

Celtic Rapunzel is, of course, based on the Hasbro mail-order pony Rapnuzel.  This girl, however, has taken an Irish turn!  Shades of green, auburn hair, and a celtic braid all make her quite ready for a Saint Patty's Day parade!  Kiss her, she's Irish!
