Little Lizzy B. here is the first of a three pony series based off my three most favorite serial killer stories. Elizabeth Bathory is recorded in history to be one of the first to dable in vampirism. She was a Hungarian ( I could be wrong here ) noble woman who was obsessed with keeping her youth and power. In a time when blood, particularly human blood, was such a powerful symbol, it was only natural that she come to the conclusion that bathing in a young and beautiful girls blood would retain her own beatuy. She lured innocent country peasants and towns girls to her castle under the guise of emplotment. She would then pic the most attractive girl and murder her, harvesting her blood. Eventually the towns people grew wise and would no longer send her their daughters. Elizabeth now have grown an enormous ego, thinking herself untouchable, made a fatal mistake and took the life of a young noble girl. Peasants was one thing but the nobility wouldn't stand for their own children being sacrificed. Bathory was promptly arrested, tried and beheaded. |

Amara's thoughts: |
The age/website comments made me laugh out loud, I had to post them ;-) "I saw this beautiful little pony in person when I attended the MLP Fair in Memphis, TN this year. Let me tell you- the pictures are amazing but the real thing is jaw-droppingly beautiful! The details are beyond superb and nothing was overlooked when sculpting or painting. Wow! " PoniesYeah will receive $25.00 of store credit. |

Down here in Texas we don't have a real winter so I've never seen real snow in person. It's a dream of mine to one day get to travel somewhere just to play in some snow, lol. I have a little obsession with winter so this pony just embodies my feelings of the winter season. This is by far my favorite custom I've ever made and it was definitely the most labor intensive. |

Additional information: |
The Year of the Dragon Pony is a pony based off of the Chinese Zodiac. Made from a Spring Breeze, he was given a Chinese dragon as a symbol on his flank and part of the way down one leg. A Chinese character for dragon was painted on his magnet hoof and his eyes were repainted red. He was rerooted in a custom blend of light blue and dark green silky kanekalon hair, matching the hair on the dragon in his symbol. The hair was not restricted to the usual two lines of plugs down the center of the head, though. Instead, he was given an elaborate mane resembling that of a Chinese dragon, along with a ridge of hair down his back, tufts on the back of his legs, and even long whiskers! |

Amara's thoughts: |
"This is definitely one of my favorites because it is so unique. I love the whiskers!" Firebyrd will receive $10.00 of store credit. |

Inspiration was Christmas, or rather the pagan way of celebrating Christmas (Yule or Joel in dutch). She has bells and a horn to make noise and ward off the evil spirits. The colors are based on the darker nights and late autumn, hence also the naked tree symbol. She wears a reindeerskull mask as people tended to dress up as animals and resemble the Wild Hunt. The charms on the mask are leaves and on one side an acorn, on the other a eternal knot. I couldn't get all the detail on the photographs.. She has black surrounding her eyes and lower lip that do not show very well. Her creme markings go up her bum as well as up her neck/throat where they fade into dark brown. I will hopefully forget how many layer of paint are on this one.. And how shaky I was doing the eyes! The eyes have four different colors in, brown black, creme, yellow, white and bronze.. eh thats five haha! And I added a crystal shiny |

Amara's thoughts: |
"A very interesting and unique custom! The whole pony gives you something to look at - from her long curly locks to the intricate sculpting of her mask. A very well put together custom." Braveanimal will receive $10.00 of store credit. |

"Dulce Angel" (Sweet Angel) was inspired by a beautiful ceramic (porcelain?) figure that someone gave to my mom a long time ago. This little angel is so femenine, so delicate, so soft, it's the perfect look for a pony!!! I added the details and the little difference that the hair is handsculpted instead of rerooted, to give her an adornment appearance ^^ |
|
Amara's thoughts: |
"Dulce Angel caught my eye because of her detailed sculpting work and beautiful coloring. You really can't see a flaw in this beautiful pony! Congrats to Diana for her 10th place honors." Diana will receive $10.00 of store credit. |
